A unique opportunity to start selling online

eshop subsidy 100% €5.000

The program named “e-lianiko” (e-retail) aiming at subsidizing small and medium enterprises for the creation or upgrade of an online store (e-shop), was pre-published on 11/01/2021.

Target Audience:

  • companies operating in the retail sector, which maintain a physical store and whose operation has been suspended for at least one day from Wednesday 18 March 2020 onwards
  • existing companies that have been established before 30.09.2019, or newly established, if they have been registered between 01.10.2019 and 07.11.2020.
  • retail trade is their MAIN activity (ΚΑΔ 47 and its specialisations)
  • they maintain a physical retail store, i.e. a commercial space that welcomes and serves customers
  • their operation has been suspended for at least one day from Wednesday 18 March 2020 onwards
  • the total amount of de minimis aid the company has received in the past, including aid from this Action, does not exceed € 200.000 over three years

For the existing companies, the main evaluation criterion will be the reduction of the turnover of the 4th quarter of 2020 in relation to the corresponding turnover of the 4th quarter of the year 2019. The reduction must be greater than or equal to 20%. This criterion doesn’t apply, of course to newly established companies.

Subsidy:

Each company will be awarded a total grant of up to the amount of €5.000 for the acquisition of IT equipment and software/services to develop/upgrading and manage an online store. The eligible costs of the Action are as follows:

  1. Server for hosting applications/software required for the creation/upgrade and operation of an online store, including its accompanying components (keyboards, monitor, etc.) and the required operating system. Acquisition in the form of Infrastructure as a Service (IAAS) is also allowed
  2. Computers (Desktop / Laptop)
  3. Other equipment related to the creation/upgrade and operation of an online store (e.g. Network equipment, Bar code readers, printers, etc.)
  4. E-shop design, development/upgrade and e-shop management services (e-shop has to operate in 2 languages, to be responsive for mobiles and accompanied by the following software: ordering, warehousing and digital payments, Hosting (hosting, collocation, etc.)
  5. Development and/or certification of digital security policy.

The start of eligibility for expenses is set to March 18, 2020.

Thε Action is expected to be announced within January 2021, and the submission period will last at least 30 days.
